I've managed to scan some polaroids- nothing like the new year to get me posting again. Here is an image I took last April. Even though it's a square format, I turned the camera to get the strange perspective.

Turning 30 isn't so bad.

Sorry I haven't posted in awhile. I have tons of pictures, just no scanner. Here are some pictures I took at the Angel City Drive-in in Downtown Los Angeles. I didn't have a tripod, so excuse any blurriness.

I took this in Vegas recently. They spelled "Precaution" wrong.

I forgot that I was interviewed for the Chicago Journal regarding my donation of photographs to the Heartland Alliance for the Art Against Aids event. Thank god the nice person who wrote the article didn't make me seem like an idiot. Click here to read it.

I don't have any stats on the event just yet, but I'm hoping the Heartland Alliance raised a lot of money for the cause.


Here's a random picture I took of some goats at a petting zoo. I have some new pics - just haven't scanned them yet. I'll try and get to that soon.

Here's my annual self-portrait polaroid for January 2008 and below, 2007.

I just saw the animated feature "Happy Feet" last night. It wasn't good.

I named this polaroid "Happy Feet." This was before I saw penguins dancing and singing to Prince. I was on a swing in Lone Mountain Park, and the sun was setting. It was a nice night.

I donated a photo diptych of mine to Art Against AIDS, an auction of over 75 pieces of art of different mediums. The proceeds from the event help Heartland Alliance's HIV/AIDS programs and services, including primary care, referrals, assistance with transportation and lab costs, housing, alternative therapies such as chiropractic treatment and massage therapy, HIV prevention education, and oral health care.

The actual event happens February 28th at River East Art Center in Chicago (I'll post a reminder blog in February.) Tickets can be purchased through the link above for $100. This is "ICE at Santa Monica." Who would have ever thought of ice skating when it's 65 degrees outside. Only in California.

Wrastlin'

It's the most wonderful time of the year.

This was taken a few years ago after we finally decided to get rid of the christmas tree. It was basically a skeleton at that point. Those are all of it's needles on the floor.

At the gallery I work at, we hung a mock up of the show title to get a grasp on the size of the text in relation to the wall. We've kept it up though, only because it looks like it is a banner for someone's high school reunion.

Finally a new polaroid! This is from September.

This one is kind of weird because it's a slide taken of a Polaroid. I like the original picture, though.
