Here is another image from Bergamot Station in Santa Monica. When I lived in California, the gallery I worked for sold photography that was apart of the New Topographics sensibility. Anyway, I noticed that my work began to mimic the work that I was selling.

It had just finished raining, and I decided to go for a walk.

I came across this scene about a half an hour into it.

The best part about Chicago is when it finally starts to get warm; people really take advantage of being outside. I remember that it was still pretty chilly out, but warm for spring, so I thought it would be a nice kite flying day. I was pretty shocked to see how many people hang out on the concrete stairs over looking the lake, and I had to wait until the area cleared out before I could get the picture I wanted. I didn't mind the girl in the background. She matched my kite so well.

My scanner is dead. I am buying a new one next week after I get paid.

This isn't my favorite picture in the world, however I do really love the larger than life portrait of Jim Morrison.

I'm dreaming of warm weather right now. . .

It was over a 100 degrees when I took this polaroid this past July. It could explain why it looks a little fuzzy.

I think I took this in 2001. My friend, Nathan, lived in this apartment in Studio City, CA that had this great pool in the center of the complex. How "Melrose Place!"

My scanner is either dead or on the fritz. I'll be posting old polaroids until I get a new one or fix the crappy one I have. I have a lot of new pics I want to post!
